Hi again everyone. Today I wanted to talk about injury, injury prevention, and my progress with a groin injury that Jeremy was able to get me through in a fraction of the time I have ever recovered before.
So at this point, Jeremy and I have been working together for about 7 weeks. I am amazed at how he has been able to drop my weight while adding muscle back at the same time, something that I told him recently I didn’t think was possible. It’s amazing what happens when you train with someone that knows exactly what their doing.
Through my own doing about a week ago, I injured my groin. I came in and told Jeremy I had pulled something, and described exactly what it felt like when I squatted down and came back up (or at least tried to come back up). Rather than squatting that day, Jeremy worked extensively with me and assured me it was not a pulled muscle, but a pinched nerve. Knowing the body like he does, Jeremy had me pain free in 3 days. All the trainers and doctors I have been through in the past in my athletic career have not come close to that and there is a big reason why. Jeremy is hands on and knows exactly how to fix that problem because of his knowledge on how everything works in the body.
In short, not only have I been thrilled with my 7 weeks of training, but having someone know so much about how your body works and how to fix ailments the right way is icing on the cake. After 5 weeks of training, my own mother was so impressed with what Jeremy was doing, she became a client herself which I believe speaks volumes!
